You are correct with a few of your statements. We did sell a DH fork for about a year. Between 2006-2007. I believe there were 2 models... A travel adjust model and a non travel adjust model. However it was not an X-Fusion product. We licensed the fork from Bionicon but quickly realized that if we put out a DH fork we want it to be done the X-Fusion way. So if and when we decide to sell a DH fork you can sure bet it will be done correctly and follow similar guidelines that all our products do.

Rando... A true Champion!
love this photo! reminds me of when I was racing as a junior before moving to the elite field. Use to head down the street from my parents house with cones and set them up on the local softball field and practice sprinting and cornering. I'm sure the softball players didn't like fixing the ruts but it was great practice. Also being a huge baseball fan from America I gotta add additional props!
Awesome to see the frustration from those who are not baseball fans in the states and from different cultures that could care less about baseball. Some funny comments. Probably would be my same reaction if I saw a rugby or soccer "futbol" photo.
great pic =]

Bill is one of our test riders that we set up on a 100% prototype rear shock. He is the owner of Ashland Mountain Adventures and a great test rider due to the amount of riding he does. Most of us cant even scratch the surface of the amount of shuttled trail miles he logs. The fluke issue with the shock is that its for a specialized sx with custom shock mount. We tried to quickly fabricate a mount for him at sea otter to get him running, but as you have seen our custom mount mixed with a frame that gets almost 7 inches of travel out of a 2 inch stroke must have added too much stress on the shock causing the mount/shaft to break. In R&D and prototyping things like this happen. I can assure you we have done extensive strength testing and have many elite athletes running this product with no issues. Our DH team (ODI X-Fusion, and others) and our many freeride athletes( Aaron Chase, Andrew Taylor, Tyler McCaul, ect...) all put tremendous stress on their products and the X-Fusion Vector passes all test with flying colors.
